My blog introduces my site by taking you to landing pages
that I've designed as Special Events Thus each unveiling of
my paintings is a special event that presents a conversation
piece to blog about. Then party at the SpyGlass Expo venues.

Take a virtual cruise to each exotic destination painting of
tropical islands and resorts. The experience is an immersive
and rewarding adventure---your cruise could lead to treasure ; )

These are special channels that I personalize with designwork.
They collectively form the interactive SpyGlass Expo venues.

They are closely linked to my Pop art as I try to innovate with
the dynamic trends on the web. Wild and contemporary, their
themes reflect the lifestyles and celebrity pop culture that we
have come to know in the world of art and entertainment today.
My pop experience evokes LasVegas, Disney and Hollywood.

I'm focusing on the Special Event aspect of every layer of my
project: Web 2.0 and this is an open platform for you to send
your own special event, story, archived interview or article. So
take this opportunity to network and publish your profile and/or
expertise. Post your views and expand on the current themes.

Soloflight :: These are wild landing pages that may include
rich media such as music and video, animation, special effects
and albums. Illustrations cartoons and cool graphics to come.

To crystallize this concept, I restate that I'm blogging and creating content for my website concurrently. The themes and ideas in bold letters above are there to guide me as I integrate these ideas. How? They link to my main themes so we can be on the same wavelength and be on the same page...or tags. My site blog page updates frequently with all the new releases and unveilings. (You get these automatically if you subscribe to my RSS feeds!). Please note that some titles are meant to be found through quests and treasure hunts. Others are time released for various reasons, crosslinks for example.

Now, where was I ? See what happens when you try to articulate---with wordart---so many things that happen in tandem? It's actually a challenge to try and integrate Special Events themes with all these island themes. That's why it's a lot of fun! Like an Expo, SpyGlass has grown to several channels and venues---(The Boardwalk, Captain's Wharf, Bohemian Cafe, Smugglers Cove, Beach bars, etc )--- where we brainstorm and design special events around each themed island destination.


The Quest :: Business with Pleasure

These events range from a romantic cruise, an art unveiling which sets the theme, a crosslink, a tag, a google, a graphic, an icon/motif/puzzle clue to a treasure hunt and rich media. I call them exotic island venues because you get to mix business with pleasure. The paintings, the entertainment-celebrity conversation pieces, the honeymoons, exotic sexy lingerie, the art and the passion...serious, Dude.

And yes, the blogs-----brainstorming business models and new lifestyles...and finding romance in the midst of it all. Pretty sexy stuff , eh? Blame it on my art. (There's even a secret quest-scavenger hunt for singles! You may need a fake ID to enter this one ; )) Hang in there, all will be revealed..

When you post, try to focus on a theme from the conversation pieces above so I can integrate and format the final page more fluently. Each of these posts/articles in personalized channels are back-to-back special events, and are exciting destinations to explore. The adventure builds and everyone will find their niche and treasure to tag and bookmark. You can then build on this --- if you like ; )

My themed platform is open for networking great ideas---yours!. Each island will become an island of expertise where people can visit and get empowered or entertained. That's the idea. That's how an island begets a life of its own. Picture it with its own dynamic community in the blogosphere with its very own web of stars...in its very own universe with its own name. Webstars? You could be it...if you have it.

From time to time, some guest speakers will hold an interactive webinar or teleconference (a scheduled live teleseminar/blog) for you to comment and ask questions. And printable/downloadable transcripts to follow. Alternatively, some will present their expertise by way of interviews. Others will have a platform for online gaming and entertainment --- like, a floating casino or island hotel ---- think of Vegas themes. I'll be aggregating other relevant attractions for my Flickr Stars group, and link them to del.icio.us ---- this is to expand our network of Webstars. So I have promises to keep ---------------- miles to go before I sleep!


The Long Tail :: The Main Event

I named this SpyGlass channel WebStars to showcase fierce talents on the web...and aggregate the best of the best in the blogosphere and events industry, or anyone who shares the vision. And here's the explosive agenda: In time, my treasure islands will erupt llke volcanoes with even more fun and great ideas, blogs, themes, quests and experiences ... with red hot lava aggregates of flowing, burning, passionate niches--to form new islands of expertise--Webstars of The Long Tail universe.

What this site is leading to is a sexy platform for you, so find a creative way to differentiate yourself with your niche as you would in The Long Tail (read this article for both business and pleasure!). It's the wave of the future and it's happening now. What do I see? I see empowerment of individuals who are creative and persistent to chase the Long Tail. I see more pod/vodcasting Pop Islands... SBIslands!
